Facebook QR Code Generator
The QR code stores the Facebook link you provide. After scanning, it may open in the Facebook app or a browser depending on the device, installed apps, login state and Facebook’s link handling.
The QR code stores the Facebook link you provide. After scanning, it may open in the Facebook app or a browser depending on the device, installed apps, login state and Facebook’s link handling.
The creation step is the same: copy a Facebook link and turn it into a QR code. What people see after scanning depends on the destination and its Facebook permissions.
| Destination | Useful for | Check before printing |
|---|---|---|
| Business Page | Your organisation, shop, service or public updates | The QR opens the correct Page, especially if names are similar. |
| Profile | A personal profile you intend to share | The intended information is visible to the audience you expect. |
| Group | A community or member discussion | Whether people must sign in, request access or already be members. |
| Event | Event details, updates or discussion | The event is available and the date and venue are current. |
| Post | One announcement, offer or update | The post has not been removed or restricted. |
| Reel or video | One specific piece of video content | The link opens the intended media rather than only the Page feed. |
Facebook’s interface can vary by device and change over time. Avoid copying a management, editing or admin address from a view that only you can access. Short links such as fb.watch are accepted by this tool, but follow the link yourself to confirm where it resolves.
LatestQR creates the code; Facebook decides who can view the content. A private group may require membership, a restricted post or profile may not be available to every scanner, and Facebook may show a login prompt. Regenerating the same link with a different colour or frame will not restore deleted or unavailable content.
Test while signed out when practical, then test again on a second phone. The link may open in the Facebook app or a browser depending on the device, installed apps, login state and Facebook’s own behaviour.
This page encodes the supplied URL in a static QR code. If you update content on the same Page, group or post URL, the printed code can continue pointing to that address. If you switch to a different destination or the URL changes, create and print a new QR code. This generator does not provide an editable redirect for the finished code.
Tell people what the scan will open. “Follow us on Facebook” can fit a Page, “Join our Facebook group” fits a Group, “View event details” fits an Event, and “Watch the Reel” fits a specific Reel. A label such as “Like us” is misleading if the code opens an event or individual post, so choose the optional frame with the final destination in mind.
Before ordering a print run, use the QR pre-print testing checklist. If one code needs to present Facebook alongside other profiles, use the Social Media QR Generator instead.
The Facebook URL is used to build the QR response and is not inserted into the project database by this generator. An optional centre logo is read for the current request and is not moved into the project’s upload storage. This does not change Facebook’s own handling of visits, accounts or content.
Place a short description near the code and consider a readable fallback address when space allows. Do not make important event or access information available only through a Facebook scan. The QR accessibility guide covers labels, placement and non-camera alternatives.
You can use a complete HTTP or HTTPS link for a Facebook Page, profile, group, event, post, Reel or video. The generator accepts facebook.com links, fb.com links and fb.watch short links.
It may open in the Facebook app or a browser. The result depends on the scanner's device, installed apps, login state and Facebook's own link handling; LatestQR does not control that choice.
Yes. Copy the link for the intended Group and test it while signed out. A private Group may ask the scanner to sign in, request access or confirm membership.
The QR can open the supplied link, but it cannot bypass Facebook permissions. Restricted content may be unavailable to people who are not authorised to view it.
No. This generator encodes a static URL. If the destination URL changes, create and print a new QR code; changes made behind the same valid URL can continue to appear there.
The QR pattern has no built-in expiry, but the destination may stop working if Facebook removes it, its permissions change or its URL is replaced.
This generator does not insert the Facebook URL into the project database. An optional centre logo is processed for the current request and is not moved into project upload storage.
